World Environment Day

On 5 June 2026, the Department of Food Technology observed World Environment Day by organizing a tree-planting program on the college campus. The activity aimed to create awareness about environmental conservation and the importance of a greener future. The program was led by Mrs. Athira A. S., Head of the Department, along with Department Coordinator Remya, other faculty members, and students of the department. The participants planted saplings on the campus and emphasized the need to protect and preserve nature. The event was successfully conducted with enthusiastic participation from faculty and students.

World Environment Day- Green Roots Program

The Department of Business Administration (SF) successfully organized the "Green Roots" Programme to commemorate World Environment Day. In an era where corporate landscapes are rapidly shifting toward ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) compliance and climate accountability, this initiative was designed to bridge the gap between business management education and environmental stewardship. The primary objective of the program was to sensitize future management professionals to the concept of the Triple Bottom Line (People, Planet, and Profit) and encourage sustainable leadership practices.

World Environment day Observation- Botany

As part of the observance of World Environment Day 2026, a programme will be organized at Thiruvizhamkunnu Forest Station to promote environmental awareness and encourage community participation in nature conservation. The event will include an inaugural session, an awareness talk on environmental protection and sustainable living, and the distribution of tree saplings.Students, members of the Forest Protection Committee, forest officials, and the public will participate in the programme. The activity aims to foster environmental responsibility and inspire collective action towards building a greener and healthier future.
