The Department of Computer Science at MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad, established in 2014, offers quality undergraduate education in the field of computing through two programmes: B.Sc Computer Science and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). Both programmes are affiliated with the University of Calicut and function under the self-financing stream. The department is supported by a team of five dedicated faculty members, along with additional support from two Mathematics faculty who handle complementary subjects, ensuring a strong interdisciplinary foundation.

The curriculum is designed to provide a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Core areas covered include programming languages such as C, Python, Java, and PHP, along with advanced topics like Data Structures, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, and Database Management Systems. Students are also exposed to emerging and applied fields such as Android Programming, Computer Graphics, E-Commerce, and Software Engineering. Mathematical and analytical subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Operations Research, and Numerical Methods further strengthen problem-solving abilities.

Admission to these programmes requires completion of Higher Secondary education with Mathematics or related subjects.
