The Department of B.Voc Dairy Science and Technology at MES Kalladi College (Autonomous), established in 2021, aims to provide skill-based and industry-oriented education aligned with national priorities for vocational training and employment generation. The programme focuses on developing competent professionals to meet the growing demands of the dairy and food processing sectors.
The curriculum integrates academic knowledge with practical training in areas such as dairy production, milk processing, quality assurance, dairy microbiology, dairy chemistry, food safety, dairy engineering, and value-added dairy products. A key highlight of the programme is its strong emphasis on experiential learning through laboratory work, industrial visits, internships, and project-based activities.
