M.A History
The M.A. History Programme under CBCSS (2019) of the University of Calicut is designed to provide advanced and comprehensive knowledge in historical studies through a structured four-semester system. The curriculum integrates core areas such as historical theory and methodology, Indian history, Kerala history, and world history, along with elective courses in emerging and specialized domains.
The programme emphasizes critical analysis, historiographical debates, and research skills, supported by training in archival studies, archaeology, and interdisciplinary approaches.
