B.A. Mass Communication and Journalism Honours

The B.A. Journalism and Mass Communication (Honours) programme is a multidisciplinary course that equips students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in media and communication. Aligned with the CUFYUGP 2024 framework, the programme covers key areas such as reporting, editing, advertising, public relations, and media production across print, radio, television, and digital platforms.

It emphasizes experiential learning through internships, projects, and skill-based courses like multimedia production and news anchoring. Students can choose elective specializations such as Corporate Communication and Digital Media Practices to suit their career interests.

The programme also fosters critical thinking, ethical awareness, and social responsibility, preparing students for careers in media, research, and communication industries.


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized board are eligible for admission, as per university regulations.
